For over 40 years, the Dunnville Youth Impact Centre (DYIC) has served as a safe, welcoming hub for youth and families in Dunnville and surrounding communities. Rooted in compassion and community values, DYIC is more than just a youth centre—it’s a place where young people are encouraged, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Whether a student needs extra academic support, a teen is eager to learn new life skills, or a family is looking for a warm meal and a place to belong, the Centre provides meaningful, barrier-free services—completely free of charge.
What They Offer:
Academic Tutoring
Students receive one-on-one tutoring support in subjects like reading, comprehension, and math, with help from dedicated volunteer tutors. These sessions not only build academic confidence but also offer a caring environment for students to thrive.
Community Meals
DYIC hosts regular community meal programs offering hot, home-style food for youth, families, and community members of all ages. Meals are lovingly prepared and served by volunteers from local churches and partner organizations.
Recreation & Intramurals

Youth Clothing Closet
Youth have access to gently used clothing essentials through the Centre’s free Clothing Closet. It’s a place where they can find what they need in a respectful, no-cost, judgment-free space.
