A Warm Welcome for Pet Lovers
Community members, pet lovers, and local supporters gathered at Pet Valu Dunnville this spring to celebrate the store’s Grand Reopening and the continued growth of one of Dunnville’s valued Chamber Members. The event welcomed visitors with games, treats, product samples, special guests, and goodie bags for the first 50 customers through the door.
More Than a Pet Store
Guests had the opportunity to explore the updated store and some of its unique features, including two beautiful self-serve dog wash stations that make bath time easier for local pet owners. Visitors also admired a custom mural inside the store that proudly depicts Dunnville and reflects the strong connection the business has to the local community.
Throughout the afternoon, staff handed out samples and treats for pets while connecting with customers and sharing information about products and upcoming ideas for the store, including the possibility of future pet teeth cleaning service days if enough community interest is shown.
Chamber Support & Community Connection
Rebecca Booth, President of the Dunnville Chamber of Commerce, attended the event and enjoyed picking up a few items for her own pets.
“I got some new food for my cats and some Churu treats for them. Both passed the test once I got home and let them try.”
The event was another great example of the support local businesses receive from the Dunnville community and the importance of shopping local.
