For many, Music on the Grand has earned a reputation as “the party spot” of the Mudcat Festival. And it’s not wrong—where else can you dance riverside to amazing live bands for just $10, or sip a cold beer or cooler for $5?
But if you’ve been here long enough… you know something more.
Because while the music fills the air, something deeper fills the community.
Every ticket sold. Every drink poured. Every laugh shared. It all goes somewhere.
It goes to the bouncy castles where kids giggle ‘til they drop.
It goes to the theatre stage where pirates perform and imaginations soar.
It goes to the Family Movie Night, where parents and kids curl up on blankets together.
It goes to the car show, the fishing derby, and every moment that makes up our festival’s soul.

Because our Partners In Action—like the incredible team at the Optimist Club—roll up their sleeves, pour the drinks, and help us pour back into the community.

Making Music, Making Memories
The teenagers singing along at the front of the stage? Their parents once danced there too.
The 60-year-olds reminiscing on lawn chairs? They were the first to ever come to Mudcat.
