Each year, the grand finale on the Saturday of the Dunnville Mudcat Festival—the Fireworks on the Grand—brings together thousands in a shared moment of awe and celebration. It’s more than just a display; it’s a tradition that reflects the spirit of our town and closes the festival with a powerful sense of unity.
Behind the scenes, this cherished moment comes with significant costs—ranging from $32,000 to $40,000 annually, covering everything from transport to safety logistics. That’s why we’ve launched the Fireworks Fund: a year-round community-driven initiative to sustain this tradition and ensure the skies above Dunnville continue to sparkle each June.
