In Dunnville, that someone is Debb Davies, the driving force behind Debb’s Cuisine on Queen. For the past 10 years, her restaurant at 109 Queen Street has been more than a place to enjoy a good meal—it’s become a welcoming space where the community gathers, celebrates, and connects.

Debb’s culinary journey in Dunnville began in 1996, when she first arrived and opened her own restaurant at the former Jacob’s location. After a life-changing back surgery forced her to step away, she later spent 15 incredible years at the Dunnville Golf and Country Club. But deep down, Debb knew it was time to create something truly her own—a place where her vision and passion could come to life.

Where many saw a burnt-out shell at 109 Queen Street, Debb saw possibility.

Dreams can happen,” Deb reflects.
“And none of it would’ve come together without the incredible support of John and Steve Cowan, who helped bring my vision to life.”

“We have great restaurants downtown—we each bring something special. I wanted to offer something with my own style,” Debb shares.
